Terms & Conditions

Out fixed fees are subject to the following terms & conditions

  • The fixed fee is for eac standard fixed fee treatment or any part thereof. 
  • If any of the included treatments for any particular services are not required the cost of the appointment will not be reduced. 
  • The fixed fee will not be altered in relation to the number of teeth present in a patient. 
  • Bitewing and periapical x-rays may not be required at every visit but may be recommended for all new patients as a baseline recording. 
  • The patient’s (or parent/caregiver’s) consent will be sought before performing any additional treatment(s) beyond the initial service. A separate appointment may be required to perform any additional treatment(s). 
  • Dental treatment is unpredictable, if you book in for a particular service and the dentist concludes that you require another service that is out of the scope of the fixed price dental services offered, you will be informed and provided with a quote for the service that is required. 
  • If the recommended additional treatment is not within the scope of our services the patient will be referred to a dental practitioner who is suitably qualified to perform the treatment. That referred dental practitioner will inform the patient of any fees which may be associated with that additional treatment. 
  • In some cases, private health funds will pay less than the advertised fixed fee, in this instance the patient will need to make up the shortfall or gap payment. The gap payment will be the difference between the amount the private health fund pays (once the allowed dental item codes are claimed) and the advertised cost of the fixed price dental treatment. 
  • For information about whether private health fund rebates apply to you, please consult your Private Health Insurer. 
  • Our fixed price check-up and clean includes the following dental codes: 011- Comprehensive oral examination, 022 x 2 – Intra-oral periapical or bitewing radiograph, 072 – Photographic records (intra-oral, per appointment), 114 – Removal of calculus (first appoitnment), 121 – Topical appliucation of remineralisation and/or cariostatic agents (one treatment).
  • Our fixed price emergency appointment includes the following dental codes: 013 – Oral Examination (limited), 022 – Intra-oral periapical or bitewing radiographs. Also includes whichever treatment is deemed fit after discussion and clinical opinion of the dentist such as: 521: one surface anterior filling OR 522 – two surface anterior filling OR 523 – three surface anterior filling OR 524 – four surface anterior filling OR 525 – five surface anterior filling OR 531 – one surface posterior filling OR 532 – two surface posterior filling OR 533 – three surface posterior filling OR 534 – four surface posterior filling OR 535 five surface posterior filling OR Non-surgical extraction codes: 311 – Removal of tooth or part(s) thereof. 
    Excludes: 314 – Sectional removal of tooth or part(s) thereof AND 322 – Surgical removal of a tooth or tooth fragment not requiring removal of bone or tooth division AND 324 – Surgical removal of a tooth or tooth fragment requiring removal of bone and tooth division AND 419 – Extirpation of pulp or debridement of root canal(s).
  • Our fixed price filling treatments are the prices charged for successive treatment following the check-up and clean or consultation appointment. It includes the following dental codes: 521: one surface anterior filling OR 522 – two surface anterior filling OR 523 – three surface anterior filling OR 524 – four surface anterior filling OR 525 – five surface anterior filling OR 531 – one surface posterior filling OR 532 – two surface posterior filling OR 533 – three surface posterior filling OR 534 – four surface posterior filling OR 535 five surface posterior filling. Unless one or more of these items are deemed unsuitable for the patient, in the clinical opinion of the dentist. 
  • Our fixed price root canal treatments are charged following the initial emergency appointment to relieve pain (dental code 419 – Extirpation of pulp or debridement of root canal(s). Out fixed price front tooth root canal price includes the following dental codes: 415 – Complete chemomechanical preparation of root canal (including 416 – Complete chemomechanical preparation of additional canals as needed) PLUS 417 – Root canal obturation (including 418 – Root canal obturation of additional canals as needed). The prices listed for front and back tooth root canal does not include the final restoration following root canal treatment. These items or treatments may not be deemed suitable for the patient, in the clinical opinion of the dentist. 
  • Our fixed price for surgical tooth extraction includes the following dental codes: 314 – Sectional removal of tooth or part(s) thereof OR 322 – Surgical removal of a tooth or tooth fragment not requiring removal of bone or tooth division OR 324 – Surgical removal of a tooth or tooth fragment requiring removal of bone and tooth division. 
  • Our fixed price for a single porcelain crown includes the following dental codes: 613 – Full crown (non-metallic, indirect). 
  • Our fixed price for 6 x front teeth composite resin veneers include the following dental codes: 526 x 6 – Adhesive restoration (veneer, anterior tooth, direct). 
  • Our fixed price for porcelain veneers includes the following dental codes: 566 Tooth-coloured restoration (veneer, indirect) x by the number of veneers being applied.
